ABOUT US

A Little History...

To Date...
Boxed Catering started out as Boxed Pizza nearly 5 years ago and we have recently in the summer of 2024 grown the business in other areas by offering both Grazing and Buffet. So we thought it would be the right time to rename as Boxed Catering even though we still offer pizza for all occasions.

Who Are We?
Originally from Cornwall, James became a chef at a very young age and grew to work in many award winning restaurants over a 17 year career in the kitchens.
Many of these years as a Head chef and also awarded numerous accolades whilst working with
some of the best chefs and mentors in the industry.
(although not the celebrity ones).

After many years as a professional chef,
he became a development chef for the main UK supermarkets, plus an extensive career still to date in wholesale food to professional chefs around the country.
Boxed Pizza was created, and with the support of his wife Laura they simply wanted to serve great pizza and amazing service at weddings and events throughout Norfolk and Suffolk.

Boxed Pizza has to date proudly catered for 1000's of wedding guests over the past 5 years and we wouldn't be here of it wasn't for the trust that many Brides, Grooms and event planners had in us to cater for their day.
Laura & James even catered for their own wedding day in the summer of 2024..
But now time for the next chapter with Boxed Catering!

A little-ish side hustle..
The British Formula 1.. We are very very proud to have been a trusted catering partner for Silverstone Circuit and the British Racing Driver Club for the past 2 years, at each F1 we set up and serve thousands of pizza to the members, guests, drivers and quite a few famous names in the BRDC Farm at the Silverstone F1 weekend each year, a lot of planning, dedication and very demanding work goes into the event but with this level of expectation you can be very confident that your event will without a doubt go to plan and everything will be delivered professionally on the day.
